Curiosity

The name Lucretia is a tribute to feminine elegance. Like the ancient figure of Lucretia, a symbol of virtue and determination, the Chianti Classico Riserva expresses inner strength, grace, and depth. A tribute to the winery’s current owner, to the timeless beauty of Tuscany, and to the patience that transforms Sangiovese into pure harmony.

Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG Lucretia is produced on historic and particularly suitable hills in the Castellina in Chianti area, at 250–280 meters above sea level. Here, the ancient terroir gives the wine depth, elegance, and longevity.
Made primarily from Sangiovese grapes, hand-selected and carefully vinified, Lucretia represents the most authentic soul of Tuscan tradition, interpreted with a refined and contemporary style.
The long aging in oak barrels enhances its complexity, endowing notes of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, and light balsamic nuances. On the palate, it is enveloping, structured, and persistent, with silky tannins and a deep finish reminiscent of cherry and undergrowth.
A wine designed for those seeking authenticity, balance, and character in a Chianti Classico Riserva for contemplation or gourmet dining.
The label is designed by contemporary artist Alessandro Grazi and originates from a horse head sketch taken from his “Drappellone”, the painted banner awarded to the winning contrada of the Palio di Siena in July 2007. A symbolic tribute to Sienese tradition and heritage, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens and now an iconic hallmark of our winery.
